Hello Foundlings ,

Welcome to the official website for Missing Roll Player Found, or MRPF for short. We are a Pathfinder actual play podcast currently running two concurrent campaigns, Sword Art Online: AOD and The Gate Chronicles.

MRPF believes in telling stories that are enriching, clean, and fun with some realism smashed in. We like to think of ourselves as PG-13 with minimal use of foul language. If adventure is what you seek, then you will not be disappointed with the zany and occasionally daft bunch of misfits in MRPF.

What is an Actual Play Podcast?

Actual play is quite literally people playing a game, usually a tabletop roleplaying game. The players take on the personas of their characters, aka PCs, and are directed to interact with the story by another person who may be referred to as the Game Master (GM), Dungeon Master (DM), Keeper, etc. In a way, you could think of actual play like an audio drama with the GM being the director, except that almost everything is improvised.

While the game may change and certain elements may be different, actual play utilizes game mechanics to help determine the direction of the story. This usually is done with dice. But which dice or if some other random determining factor is used depends upon the game system being played.

MRPF is one such podcast and our main game system is Pathfinder. You can see a list of our existing campaigns below.

Hey, you!

We don't know what to call you yet! With our growing podcast series, calling you "AOD Ones" doesn't really apply across the board. We can stick with that or perhaps you have a better idea of what you would like to be called.
